I want to share with everyone the reality of the impact of being deemed to be mentally unwell. It has such far reaching and life changing implications as I know myself having being diagnosed some 14 years ago with borderline personality disorder and subsequently having spent stays of varying duration as an in-patient in an NHS acute psychiatric ward. Nothing in life can prepare you for how it feels to have fallen so far through the cracks, but your heart is opened as well as your eyes.I have written a work that is not fiction but reads like a novel which is basically the true account of my experience to let people in through the locked doors.
